He's not Sam but close. Considering the fact that no one can duplicate Sam Kinison I think he did an decent job. It be like an someone trying to play Richard Pryor. It just isn't gonna work. Eddie Murphy did impressions of him and he did an ok job but it just wasn't him. Its not like George Dubya or Austin Powers, anyone could do them these are stand up icons that we're fond of so of course no one can fill their shoes. But its really fun to watch them try. Fogler is awesome.

Great impression of mr kinison.He got the voice,the laugh and the scream exaktly like Sam and he looks like him too. If i would pick a guy that would play Kinison it would be Dan Fogler and when i saw this i got so happy.I dont think anybody can do this better then mr Dan.

The voice needs tweaked a little and the face needs tweaked a lot, but all in all, that was a pretty good Kinison.

Sorry, I meant to add something. Keep it calm, Fogler fans. Nobody's attacking him. We're all Sam fans who know him like the backs of our hands. Fogler just isn't Sam. A good example is the bit about world hunger. When Fogler does it, it comes off sounding mean and serious, almost threatening. Sam made that bit work because of his silly impressions and fiery delivery.
Fogler's delivery of the bit sounds like a killer reciting the act in the mirror before going off to shoot starving kids.

No, he's all wrong. I'm sure he's a good actor, but he's not Sam. The voice, the swagger, the body language -- none of it are there. Dangerfield said it best on the "E! True Hollywood Story" of Sam: "Sam can NEVER be duplicated."
