has anyone else noticed that the funnels on the Mauretania are upside down? Black at the top, Red with Black banding for the rest :)

@Airsoftsniperkid i think you mean ACU which is made up of small squares or the latest multi-cam used by the british SAS which can be used in desert or woodland.American BDU's are one colour usualy green or black

The "digital camo" is actually most effective for video driven surveillance systems and enhanced night vision scopes. The pixleated images of troops become even more blurry when viewed on a 640x480 screen, making their outlines more difficult to see. That is where it's designed to excel, not as much for the "optical illusion" effect in real time

You know, I'm surprised we've actually started doing this again. The American military's current BDU (Digital Camouflage) actually produces an "optical illusion", but only for a second.
