Just watching that clip I was imagining how it'd be now: 2010's equivalent to Timmy Would be much younger, more fashionable and non-threatening. He wouldn't be weird or wacky and wouldn't have that genuine enthusiasm. He wouldn't actually be allowed to hit the children on the head and in fact probably wouldn't have anything that looked like a hammer - that'd be far too violent. It'd probably be a safe CGI banana or something. I'm so glad I was a kid in the 80s
