This is not really a tutorial. In this video I'm just playing the solo to The Refreshments' hit song, "Banditos," at 65% speed, so it is easy to see what I'm doing with my fingers.

I also have a video of me playing this at full speed.

By the way, I think Brian Blush is a genius!

  • What do you use to slow down your music?

  • @Crash171 I don't remember what program I used; I'm pretty sure I downloaded it for free on the web. Sorry!

  • Great technique. What gear are you using to recreate the Blush tone?

  • @cubegleemer Thanks! Here I'm justing using my Line6 Flextone 2---can't remember, but it's probably on the Marshall Plexi setting.

  • Hey man...this is a great tool for those attempting to learn this solo! Were covering this song and this helped immensely! Thank you for your time and contribution!

  • Glad to hear it! Rock on!

  • kick ass! Thanks

  • @cmartinrel Ha ha I do that all the time. Thanks for getting back to me anyway. At first I thought my download was just doing so slow it was playing like that.

  • Glad you find it useful!

  • Thank you soooo much for this!
