PART 2:
http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=fX_Mj0Vf6J8

Dr Brian Cox explains why scientists from all over the world are swarming to the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest particle physics laboratory.

The LHC is the biggest science experiment ever built, and the scientists using it are aiming to recreate particles from the beginning of the universe.

Cox takes us on a scientific journey from the discovery of the electron and the birth of particle physics, via the discovery of quarks, to the building of the LHC at CERN.

  • Can anyone tell me how can you deduce mass by varying voltage and measuring the bend? i can only assume heavier particles would bend less but what would be the calculation?

  • Thank you so much for this!

  • it better be for you
