Oh - just realized that I'm an absolute idiot. I played all levels all the way up to level 20 without realizing that you could pause the action and select and move things. Things are much easier now!

Absolutely amazing. I was having a bit of trouble with this level and looked online for help and found this. Surely if you can beat it without crystals, I can beat it... period :) Excellent work!

Like...I'd have done that before the dirt decayed. It'd be worth the 10 energy, if it buys about 10-20 seconds more to get the dark beam ready.

@fractalgem The shield would die to the first drone that crashed into it, something that would happen well before 10 seconds. In fact, there's a drone right at the entrance just as the terrain is broken through - that drone would kill the shield in about 2 seconds.
And yeah, I noticed that missing reactor spot later in the game, this is by no means a speed run - even without crystals this level would be possible in under 20 minutes I think.
