A Danesmoor 12-14Kw Domestic Oil Fired Boiler converted to run on WVO / Kerosene mix. 2 Fuel Pre heaters were incorporated into the design to reduce fuel viscosity. 7 fans were used to blow air over the radiator to provide space heating in the workshop.

thanks for your comments - Martin.

  • you think its possible to just use wvo?

  • Hi Chuck, The best I did was 70% SVO 30% Kerosine mix, and that was with pre heaters.

It will burn a higher concentration of SVO, but has difficulty in re- igniting after the boiler has been off for 10 mins or so. I run the burner now on 66% - 33%, seems to run ok. - Martin.

  • Great vid mart, the burn looks very clean and the home made radiator looks a beast.
