Everything he says works my husband and I will be debt free in December of 2012 we are 25 and 26 . I can;t wait, we have the home study kit and I love having it to go back and reference when we might fall off.

does anyone know how much the market has averaged in 2011? because in my intro to finance class and it was made it 2008 and in 2008 apparently averaged 12% and im not sure its even 10% 2011

@bschlach Because it's obviously not a joke that EVERYONE says. Airlines are notorious for bad service, let's be honest here.

I have a friend who is 30, makes only $11.00 an hour at a nursing home and has almost 80,000 saved up in a mutual fund. He follows the principles laid out by Dave. One time we stopped at Burger King and I got a meal that was about $8.00 and he couldn't believe I spent that much.

@ryanmshepard92 you should read the step on super saving. there is a scenario regarding compound interest that is very eye opening especially since you are 18/19 years old. I've known people who follow Ramsey's plan and they weren't hurt like many others over the last few years. I would highly recommend it for the foundation of your personal finances. Best of luck.
