Transmission cn happen by direct contact wth another infected animal or person. t cn b passd from cats 2 dogs & v. v. & frm pets 2 humns & v. v.
The fungal spores can lve n the enviro. 4 a long tme & can b fnd n carpets, bedding, grooming equip. etc & can infect ur ct whn t cms into contact wth thm.The incubation period z 10-12 dys so, following exposure 2 the fungus, abt 10-12 dys will pass b4 any lesions occur.
the spores r easily killed with a solution of bleach (500 mls) and water (4 L).

If your cats have ring worm they need to be bathed daily followed by a betadine wash and then treat them with som tinactin or other over the counter anti fungal. It's very similar to athletes foot fungus.

ringworms won't kill them. It's just really iiratating to have. just keep everything dry. I'm pretty sure your cats are really big now anddoing great :)
