Ya, I'm definitely going to agree with Matonizz on this one. The mouthpiece can have a very large impact on the quality, consistency, clarity, etc.. of a persons sound. I've played a lot of different mouthpieces over the years and it wasn't until I started playing on the SM4 that I had finally found a mouthpiece that possessed all of the characteristics that I wanted in a mouthpiece.

Acctually it is a vast difference between mouthpieces when talking about air resistance, articulation, endurance, sound- everything. Try to play some different mouthpieces in a row and you'll see a difference

i don't know bout you,but i think the mouthpiece has little influence to the playing,i know some prefer the wide ones,a=some the narrower ones, but hey,if one could play really well,i don't think a different mouth piece would chane the way he/she plays.

The cadenza section just before the end of the piece could be done a little differently. I would give it the feel like the one in Blue Bells of Scotland. Start out faster on the first one, milk the top note slightly and then each series gets slower after that until the last series when you really milk it.
Just my .02 cents, Great sound btw!

I play on a Yamaha 842S Custom series Euphonium with a Dennis Wick SM4 mouthpiece. Thanks for the compliment!
