Take me higher lord, this is not about my support for either Sen. Hillary Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama but rather this completely shocking ignorant statement that Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. (pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ and former pastor of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.) said at an event sponsored by the Detroit chapter of the NAACP over the weekend. Please read the following statement and please let me know if you agree with him that African-American children and European-American children learn with different parts of the brain. (B. Scott just shakes his head and clutches his pearls.) Read more @ http://www.lovebscott.com

Rev Wright is a disallusion, insulated man. Not only is pulpit of puppets catering to his thinking, but they are also encouraging him to preach on. The 60's and 70's was a painful time and now 30yrs later he saying what he too scared to say then.
Rev.Wright statement was a very ignorant one. The color of a person's skin does not determine the way they are taught to learn or their thinking patterns when it comes to learning. I'm black and dominican myself so I guess .. from his statement I guess I learn from both sides of my brain. Just a mess! Now studies do show that a left handed "person" of any race think with the right side of there brain &a right handed person uses the left side of there brain. has nothing to do with race or color.
what's sad is that the crux of what he's saying - that educational system fails a lot of kids - is right. the system is set up to teach one way and lots of children of all races learn differently.
I like a large majority of Afro-Americans have a multi-ethnic genetic makeup so what's my learning style? You know everybody has an opinion; unfortunately some people have a platform where their opinions get publicized.
Reverend Wright proves the point that there is a condition it's symptoms are that access to the mass media brings on the spouting of stuff opinions about things they know absolutely nothing about.
