On the German autobahn when in the fast lane and wish to overtake, you indicate to the vehicle infront that you wish to do so by indicating left. In the rearview mirror when you see a vehicle approaching at a much higher speed than you indicating.. you tend to pull in ;)
Even at speeds exceeding 200kph/130mph I often pull in for faster cars.

Just to put everyone straight on this, its a Danish journalist that took to the German autobahn to legally test Honda's claim that the CBR 1100 XX (Blackbird) could top 300kmh. There is nothing illegal about this test!!!

I'm pretty sure hes on the autobahn.. so if you get on the autobahn your pretty much takin risks as it is.. hes not doing anything illegal

It's not a "biker thing"....it's a stupid thing. He makes just one mistake, and someone else could be killed for it. In my opinion if you want to go that fast, take the bike to a track a race it. This was a dumb stunt, and it's only a matter of time before an ambulance is driving in the left lane with it's sirens on to get this guy to the hospital (if he's that lucky)!

the left signal is running to let people know they need to move out of the way cuz he's gonna be going fast in the left lane... its a biker thing.
