The greatest F. & T. clip I've seen yet, demonstrating admirably what distinguished them in the early days of making their name...& a great song! Their arrangements were always very nicely done, but it's also nice to hear them here "unadorned," as it were...thanx!!
I am sad to report that Arthur Ferrante died on September 19, 2009 at his home in Longboat Key, Florida. He was 88. He will be missed, but his legacy lives on through his music along with partner, Louis Teicher
Super well done, newer duos have nothing over these guys always a good show!!!!

So Arthur Ferrante finally went to his reward (Teicher predeceased him).
88 years for Ferrante. One year for every key on a Grand Piano. Somehow that just makes sense...

I worked for these guys in the 70's. I was just a kid. These guys couldn't have been nicer people. Nothing but great memories.

Seems odd to see them play Steinways before they were Baldwin artists.

What a fitting tribute to the great Puerto Rican composer 'Noro Morales'.

Too bad Jan August wasn't asked on television to perform his version.

I used to listen to this album as a kids incessantly. I love how they incorporate all those sounds.
