were did you find that ants

@blamesociety That's a good idea, thanks for the tip. I found a queen ant in my room this morning and killed it. I suddenly got curious and started looking on youtube at antfarms. Now I'm starting to wish I hadn't killed it. These ant farms look interesting.

i live in the central illinois area around pekin and what kind of ants are there i got the same 1 and if i were to get a queen how far would i have to dig down right? it shouldnt be deep but what kind of ants are here?

shouldn't be too hard to get the queen. i would suggest just digging through the ant mound and putting it in a big box so you can sift through and get to her. you can't miss the queen

@blamesociety Is it possible to hook other antfarms up together to make a larger ant colony? Kind've like how you can connect gerbal/Hamster cages? Is it possible to put a pipe or tube from one auarium to the other without the ants getting loose?

@marilyn007manson1 That sounds like a really good idea, actually! If you can get some clear plastic tubing and maybe some epoxy you could definitely create a labyrinth with interconnecting habitats. Obviously you want to not have any ants in the habitats while you dremel out some holes and to let the epoxy dry. Haha, killed the queen yet curiosity stricken you from the aftermath. nice!
