This video isn't a fair comparison at all. The D3 barbarian will not have 6 skills at level one just starting the game. D2 was shown at the very start; this video should be remade when D3 is actually out, it would be much better than using the 2008 D3 unveiling footage.

@Pierre8907 I know, nothing wrong with hoping. Just take Blizzard release dates with a grain of salt.

And your comment was the most recent aside from mine -I didn't bother checking dates, and I don't keep track of con dates. I prefer to wait until a game comes out and passes the review filters somewhat (by which I mean, reviews describe features that intrigue me, not reviews say "buy it.")

The bitterness comes from the loss of SC ghost, which looked so awesome, and the absurd wait for WC3.

@rashkavar wow, aren't you late to reply man. Nothing wrong with being hopeful man. I was crossing my fingers for a release date just like every other fucking Diablo fan awaiting news from Blizzcon. Not saying "Blizzard are gay if they don't announce a release date"

Interesting choice of words, this "Combat Evolved" thing. It's kinda like Halo's use of the term. Neither game is doing anything all that different from its predecessors. I think it's more ironic this time around, though, since D1 and D2 are not only genre predecessors, but are earlier parts of the same series.

@Pierre8907 Who cares about release dates with this company. Blizzard is amazing at everything they do, except coming up with release dates. Warcraft 3 came out 2 and a half years late. Starcraft Ghost was supposed to come out in 2003 or so as a stealth game, and it ended up being restarted and eventually was strangled in the cradle. When the release date is "tomorrow" and Blizzard hasn't released it yet, then you can trust those dates. Not before.

lol it as if blizzard is our drug dealer, and we need our quick fix, the game will come. Lets just be a little patient so that they can remove all the bugs, and flaws in the game first, but when it comes out, ITS SHOW TIME BABY!
