What the adaptor does, it makes the shape of the gutter from rectangle to round, it could be 6" or 8" depending on your citie's building code.

Lol....there's no need for tape, first winter it will be gone. Next time don't use elbow but make go straight down and the pipe will be the elbow.

@ahernandez1080 hey buddy take a look at the size of the gutter downspout and let me know how you would fit a 4 inch drain pipe around that.

@LandImpressionsJaxFL They sell reducers for any size of downspout.
Don't check at The Home Depot because they have only homeowner stuff, it looks like that's where you got it from tho....
