This isnt the real 12th man.. Seahawks are. This should be trademark infringement

The "12th Man" is absolutely a 100% Texas A&M tradition. The Seahawks layed claim to this about 70 years too late. Nice try though. Been to FB games all over the country (Big 10,SEC, ACC) and this place EASILY has the loudest fanbase (yes, Kyle Field) I 've experienced. Just one mans opinion.
Coming from a MSU/Lions fan in MI.

Season tickets and sports passes are both sold out.
We're ranked number 7.
It's loud, it's real, it's original.
We shake the stands when we saw 'em off, we stand the whole game, we turn the stadium maroon, and cause delay of games.
Come to Aggieland and see the real 12th man. Then go back and enjoy professional football.
Yuck, professional football. No loyalty, no steady players, just a bunch of money and a lack of passion.

"Come Sunday morning, someone won't be #1 in the nation...
in kick-off coverage."
Yup I don't miss Fran at all.

@cgpacers13 thats a pretty dumb argument because they wouldn't put a college fanbase on madden...
-
12th Man is from Seattle. Only 2 things come from Texas: steers and queers and I don't see no horns on you boy...
-
honestly its not even a question who the real 12th man is....the Aggies
you just got to be stupid if you think seattle's is better
from a bears/irish fan

@metallicarox80s Who takes more pride? Who was almost on the cover of Madden? SEAHAWKS!
Historical facts:
*A&M's 12th Man was coined in the 1920s
*Seattle's "12th Man" originated inthe 1980s
*A&M sued Seattle for copyright infringement after Seattle made a Super Bowl (Your "12th Man" is "more well known" huh? Why did it take us so long to discover it? Oh yeah, Seattle's one of the worst NFL teams ever).
*A&M agreed to let Seattle use it ONLY by acknowledging that A&M is rightful owner of The 12th Man.
Corbet, LoveLetter, consider yourselves owned.

@corbetstevens Noise record? You have an enclosed stadium. We do not. Your argument is already flawed.
In January 2006, Texas A&M filed suit against the Seattle Seahawks to protect the trademark and in May 2006, the dispute was settled out of court. In the agreement, Texas A&M licensed the Seahawks to continue using the phrase "12th Man" in exchange for public acknowledgement by the NFL franchise as to Texas A&M's ownership of the phrase.
Get owned, bitch.
