Funny comment on Karadžić trial

American journalist commenting on the first day of the trial of Radovan Karadžić. Pretty funny.

The spectacular event of the trial session was when Karadžić claimed US diplomate Richard Holbrooke made a deal with him and later wanted him dead so he could not speak of the deal in the Hague trial. The judge interrupted Karadžić who reponded with the following words:

"I must say that this is a matter of life and death. If Mr. Holbrooke still wants my death and regrets that there is no death sentence here, I wonder if his arm is long enough to reach me here,"

Then he was cut off.
