NOSFERATU VS THE SHRINE SYNCHRO SYSTEM

The SHRINE SYNCHRO SYSTEM is the ever-evolving musical unit of RITA RAY and MAX REINHARDT, which developed out of their LONDON SHRINE club nights.
Last year, with multi-instrumentalist TUNDE JEGEDE and world musician, producer, and innovator BEN MANDELSON, they created a live sound track performance to accompany the first ever documentary, NANOOK OFTHE NORTH (dir. Robert J Flaherty 1922).
It played to great acclaim at last years Brit Doc and Barbican Film festivals. This year they follow it up with their African inspired live soundtrack for the first ever vampire movie, NOSFERATU (dir F W Murnau 1922).
The London Shrine Club Nights were originally inspired by Fela Kutis legendary Lagos club. At its core, a musical idiom derived from many African musical styles, soundscapes created by DJs RITA and MAX, which lay the foundations on which a glittering array of African artists, legends and newcomers rip it up with them onstage including TY, TONY ALLEN, SHINGAI SHONIWA [The Noisettes] and JULDEH CAMARA.
I've heard that on this live soundtrack Max and Rita are joined by Tunde Jegede on kora and Ben Mandelson on all manner of stringy things etc. Still, Che Gruyere xxx
