  • I like bands that release more than 10 songs per album, it makes the album last so much longer in your head! :)

  • I dont think it will be as good as Fruit. Fruit was magic, and it had a range of songs from loud fun stuff (bad fever, push the envolope) to the chilled out stuff (crazy) O.O.F sounds big and fun but no chill out softer songs. i will still like it but Fruit was too awesome. mette's own song at the end sounds nice as well

  • Outstanding songs: Out Of Frequency; Cloak & Dagger; Theme from 45 Eugenia; When It Comes To Us

Right now I think the title track is the best song on the album although the other 3 in the "outstanding" category are close. But the title track has it all-- a sick-as-hell funk bass line, elements of prog rock in it with the flute solo (reminds me of Ian Anderson) and some of the synth lines (reminds me of ELP) and the 5/4 time chorus. And to top it all off Mette sounds so sweet you want to cry.

  • Full album except iTunes bonus tracks are now available all over the internet. I got a copy off mp3rally com

GREAT album. I look at it this way:

Decent songs: Heart Attack; Mafia; Suburban Space Invader (this one is probably going to take the most time to grow on me, right now it comes off as too much Cyndi Lauper and not enough AGT)

Very good songs: Gold Rush Pt. I / Dollars In The Night / Gold Rush Pt. II; Major; Arrival of the Empress (Prelude); Ghost In My Head; Fantasy Friend Forever

  • funny how you have zombies as the opening song even though its not on the album. Major and Heart attack sound great, especially the new music video for Heart Attack.

  • @RyanGiggsOBE Well they may not have authorized it, but I highly doubt those previews are fake. Plus "Heart Attack," "Major," "Fantasy Friend Forever," "Ghost In My Head," "Theme from 45 Eugenia" and "Mafia" have already been leaked in various forms and the previews sound just like what I'm used to hearing. So it would take quite the impostor to nail all those songs and imitate Mette's voice to a tee. Now the bit torrent links you see on Google searches, yes they're all fakes.

  • @Schtuperfly I really hope they play the entire new album. If that only leaves time for a "Golden Age" encore then so be it. They've been doing almost the same setlist since late 2009 and I'm dying for new music.

  • Thanks for the link. I love how unpredictable they are and I wasn't let down. Nobody since the Greatful Dead has been able to surprise me like that. It's like first you go WTF and then it just grows on you like fungus. My present favorite is Zombies because it's the happiest song about corpses ever which are the saddest things ever which makes it some kind of crazy. genious oxymoron song. How they ever gonna figure out what not to play.Irving's gonna be way different than Bowery that's for sure.

  • Thanks for this video, I can't wait for Out of frequency !
