In this week's journey into quantum possibility, Adam meets with the Gadget Man, Ron Hatton, (www.gadgetmangroove.com), who is creating quite a stir in the engine efficiency sweepstakes with his Gadgetman Groove.

Focusing on the air intake alone, Hatton learned that he could affect a DRAMATIC improvement in fuel combustion and a PROFOUND reduction in emissions by placing a small trough ("groove") in the throttle-body of an internal combustion engine (ICE). The main effect of this change is the creation of a double-vortex in the air intake, which dramatically reorders and condenses the available oxygen and its combustion-facilitating electrons in the air.

  • Amazing, verifies the hidden agendas

  • @kemuksigak I see your point and see your concern. But I have done it myself and to be honest, as long as you maintain your engine and clean up your throttle air way and make sure you change your spark plugs if your car has more than 120k miles. I drive a 02' Mountianeer and the MPG went from ~17MPG/city to an ~26MPG/city. Now I am working towards an HHO fuel cell that should improve my millage by total of 50% and it can be proved. (Read next comment.)

  • What about diesels? Diesel engines dont have a throttle valve.

  • I can get behind what the gadgetman is trying to do, but he is following in the same footsteps as the people who brought us the Tornado or the Fitch Fuel Catalyst.

More than likely, any MPG improvement comes from an unconscious desire to get better MPG...meaning you end up driving more carefully and screw up your own results.

Some little guy in AZ. is not gonna revolutionize the automotive world. Wouldn't you think Ferrari, Bugatti, MB, et.al would have thought of this at one point...

  • This guy has sucked on too many tailpipes..

  • Hey also look at this way to add fuel mileage as I get another 10 miles per gallon on a motorcycle in the city . .

  • nice work...mp

  • THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK!!!
