2009 National Pie Champions

This year, Sweetie-licious Bakery Cafe won the ultimate prize in the pie baking world the coveted $5,000.00 Best of Show at the Crisco National Pie Championships/Food Network Pie Challenge for Toms Cheery Cherry Cherry Berry Pie. This video, courtesy of the Food Network, shows the culmination of the competition.

The miracle of winning for this particular pie is that it was created by Linda to honor her sweet brother-in-law, Tom Hundt, a truly inspirational man, who passed away recently.
Sweetie-Licious also won two first place ribbons in the Independent Baker category at the National Pie Championship one for Lindas Key Lime & Raspberry Cream Pie and one for Aunt Ellas Cherry Berry Berry pies!!
