This is the main theme, otherwise called "Redemption" theme, from the Agatha Christie's Poirot episode "Murder on the Orient Express" (2010). The composer is Christian Henson.

  • wish i could find this album to download or purchase... its brilliant, yet chilling

  • @patronza There used to be a page online where you could download the mp3. Unfortunately, Christian Henson took down the mp3s. If you want, you can make one by taking the URL of this video and going to a site called Listentoyoutube.

  • Where did you get this from? :O

  • @Roepichen Look under the video description and you'll find a link to the composer's spitfire page which lets download mp3's of four different Poirot music scores, including THE CLOCKS, HALLOWE'EN PARTY, and THREE ACT TRAGEDY.

  • Does anyone know where I can find the other songs that were featured in Murder on the Orient Express?

  • @GuyverFan95 Unfortunately I don't know.

  • Christopher Gunning has a great cd. Just type in his name and the word music

  • I just watch this movie yesterday. Simply awsome. A way better than the precedent adaptation. David Suchet is so touching especially at the end and this music feet perfectly.

I just hope they never adapt "Curtain" with Suchet 'cause it will make me cry for days.

  • @JTeamjesters ahhh yes, it is played in the ending! This is what I was searching for, thank you! :)

  • I love from :45, that sounds so much like a detective-like theme. The clock is ticking away, the tension is building, the culprit has yet to be spotted but shall be pointed out any minute now. Was this played at the end also? The ending when Poirot looks at the murderers, and they look back, and he simply walks off with tears in his eyes was very powerful scene with great music. Sent shivers down my spine

  • Thanks so much for uploading this. It is just amazing - and so is the whole film.

  • Thank you. I was impressed by this score when I watch the movie. The instruments are very important in the sense of this music, how the composer used them, and the final harmonies... like patronza said: sends a chill down my spine when I watch the film, very touch.

  • the last minute sends a chill down my spine :s

  • @HRJafael Thank you SO much!!! :D
