Here is a short video to show the difference between a shaft that has not had its balance point found versus the same shaft that has had its balance point found. All shafts regardless of its manufacturer or its price needs to have its balance point found before it gets assembled into a head! No exceptions in my book!

  • Get a simple, cheap, bearing based spine identifying tool (about $50.00) and set the spine on your shafts at 9:00 to the target line. Done deal. All the rest of this scientific frequency balancing crap is ... crap.

  • @arff6312 I fail to see the difference. The only difference is one is up and down and the other is side-to-side. Both will give you the same results.

    I'm going to base my shaft fitting on the video above.

  • not to be an "Ahole" or anything of the sort but that's not the "balance point". see "golf shaft flo". you'll also get better results with a more stable base for your shaft vise.
