If your dogs are trying to escape from fences, pens, and are digging, and jumping to try to be free that should tell you that they are not happy. Just because you had no control of how they where trained you have control how they could be trained now. I believe you when you say that you love them, but could you live on a chain? Would you try to escape? Could you stay outside all week and be happy just for the weekend visits? How are they safe when wild dogs attacked them? Dogs deserve better..

@junopup72 no i couldnt they get off every chance i get to let them off..dixie i fixed so she cant have pups the bottom line to this hole thing is there tooken care of and let off everychance i get i have school to deal with an a horse to be tooken care of plus other things i have to deal with if im not looking after them my dad is..and they get fed good & exercised good.i make sure my dogs have a good life there not just sitting there misarble on a chain!!

@junopup72 im only 16 i can only control certain things!! and my dogs do get to come inside the house just not 24/7 3 dogs in a small house doent mix.i make sure there are happy i make sure they have clean dog house and clean pen to stay in clean water long walks and food so i i were them and had an owner like me i would be pretty happy dog and i spend qulaity time with every single dogs that i have(fyi there is some at my dads all day to make sure their ok)

i love my dogs and if i lived where they were i wouldnt have them on chains..i see my animals every weekend and love them i know whats best for my dogs b/c i have had dogs ever since i was born so i know how to take care of them!!!! the reason have them on chains is b/c dixie digs,chews to get out of a pin i have tryed everything...jr will chew,dig,even die trying to jump over a pen petey chews and digs he wont go anywhere without his mom so just be nice and ask b4 saying mean things so thxs 4

all i can say is that my dogs have a good life and they get off the chain and i treat them with great care 2 of them i had no control of how they where trained before i got them they were breed to hunt hogs but are the biggest babys and best dogs i have. i keep them on a chain to keep them safe and so they wont go into the woods and get shot trust me by hunters b/c alot of ingornant people think there killing dogs so they dont get a chace to prove themsleves

And I am not saying that you should let them off of their chains and let them roam all over the place. What I am saying is that they should be inside with the family. If they go out they should be on leash if they have the desire to roam and not stay in your yard. If they where Neutered and spayed they just might not have the urge to run as much plus it will cut down the risk of them getting cancer when they are older. Just because you say that your dogs have a good life does not make it true.

All I can say is that you are not yet grown and all you know is how you have been raised. I am 38 years old and I have had dogs all of my life. So I do know a lot more than you. I am not putting you down I am just older and more experienced. I know without a doubt that I would be happy to live the life my dog lives. How about you? I challenge you to live like your dogs do for a week and see for yourself if it is a good and happy life.

Ok I read your post on the Cindy vid and i see you are worried about your dogs running off. I must say that is a sorry excuse. My dog would run off 2 if I didn't train her and furthermore no one is saying they should be off leash. I have a dog that is half APBT and half Am Bulldog and she is NEVER at the end of a chain! I would NEVER be able to sleep at night if she wasn't on her bed at the side of my bed. I don't see how you can do it and how you can rationalize it. Your dogs don't look happy!!

I must say they look very sad in all the pictures..It would have been nice to see them with a smile, but life on a chain is no life at all..
