Less Than Jake - The Science of Selling Yourself Short [Bass Cover by Margalus]

Hi there folks, long time no see!

I've being a bit busy lately so i couldn't spend much time playing and recording covers, plus i don't have a bass since like 5-6 months and that's why i felt like re-starting. At the moment i've been practising bass for a total of one month(more or less) and my right hand position still sucks.

Please please PLEASE(!!) tell me any thing you know i'm doing wrong to help me improve my skills; constructive criticism is welcome and really appreciated, morons and trolls will be blocked and their comments deleted ;)

P.s. oh and this is another bass a friend borrowed to me so it's not mine, don't ask for the model. I only know it's a Cort :D

P.p.s. the bass could be out of tune, i don't have a tuner right now but it doesn't seem too bad to me

you play the 0:32 part a little bit wrong this is why it doesnt sound very cool

@GogoBassist you mean the timing or the notes? i ask 'cause i don't remember when i recorded it but i usually play that part a bit different everytime. this songs makes me really feel the music and i interpret it a bit sometimes :)

also, i could just have found the wrong tabs..how do you play it?

@Josho144 eheh thanks but it ain't mine! A friend borrowed it to me since he's not using it and i really wanted to play bass. Anyway thanks for the tip! I do that 'cause i started on the 5 string of another friend of mine(you can see it in my Creedence cover) and playing the first string with my thumb on the pickup was really hard and i didn't use the low string that much. I'm trying to avoid that now though, in my last cover i stay on the pickup more :)
