It's too bad what OCF have become. It used to be some cool people hanging out. Now every wannabe hippie, cityslicker noob and their son knows about this place and wants to become part of it. The cool people left YEARS ago and along with them, the atmosphere of this fair. Now it is overpopulated, over commercialized, and over policed. The real country fair left for the woods and hills 15+ years ago.

The fair is awesome for anyone any age! i danced with an earth mother when i was just a little girl, and now that im 17 i can go back and its still fun. so much to buy and see, so many friendly people!

I always stay at Zumwalt. It is run by the city of Veneta, they make your stay really fun and easy. with shuttles provided and great entertainment . it sits on the resevoir so you can swim too! good times!!!

This is such a great video, I've been going to the Fair since '93. This video really captures the spirit. I showed it to my Mom, trying to coax herto come. By the way...I'm from Seattle and it;'s well worth the drive.

I just got so excited watching this!!! I'm already getting juiced up for this year. And I loved that group at 3:06. Every time I saw them walking by I would drop whatever I was doing and watch them. Do you know who they were and if those were costumes based on something or if they were just awesomeness from the minds of amazing Fair folk? Anyway, thanks for posting the video! I'll be sure and stop by your booth this year!
