This video was shot at the general hospital at the Dixmont Insane Asylum.

This was shot as a reference video when my paranormal Research group and I were scouting areas on the property to investigate. we had full access for 2 days to the entire property.

the clip shows the morgue area and labs. Not to spooky in and of itself but just a very creepy place in general.

sorry again for the poor quality but this was just a reference video and never shot to be anything more. it was some time after this trip that I realized my interest in old abandoned buildings. so I present this as more urban exploration than paranormal.

hope you enjoy.

if paranormal is what you want please check out our site at:

we will keep updating the information as we complete investigations and show our more incredible findings.

Music: DJ Shadow, Preemptive Strike.

  • I own the morgue table. it is really cool to see your video of it in it's home. I do miss that place

  • How did you lug that thing out of there much less where did you put it!?! that thing had to be heavy! awsome momento tho.

  • There is no WalMart there; they abandoned plans to build the store because of the landslide issues. Anyways, awesome memories! I have one of the handles from the morgue boxes! I also have the one and only exit sign that hung over the main doors of the hospital lobby in Reed Hall. I've got like 3 or 4 hours worth of footage from Dixmont that I need to edit. AWW, I miss that place!

  • Sounds Cool I hope you post your footage sometime. I would like to see it. I haven't really followed the misadventures of wal-mart much after the landslide but I thought they were just waiting for ground stability results.
