Yes, I agree it is disgracful that peoples from ordinary life and show business have had their phones tapped by journalsts. There is no excuse for that bahaviour it is criminal. But before we bcome hollier and now the public didn't mind buying the The News of the World or the other papers from News International that had these stoies in them. This has gone on for years and years this muck rakking. The public that reads these newspaper should also burden some of the blame.
