you could use this tactic with regular terminators instead of assault terminators, then if you don't make the rolls you need to get into assault you can still get some shooty kills

but as far as a tournament list.. id look at the rules and tailor the army for them. oh btw in my previous comment I ment any tatic i come up with you could counter with your orks as well. i also play orks and love them. an I never claimed any of my tricks were unbeatable as we all know no plan survives contact with the enemy :)

I know, I was just curious what you would take as an "all-comers" list. Sorry if it didn't come across that way.
I usually run my battlewagons 7" a turn anyway so I can shoot and shoot out of them.

I never said any of this was a tournament list and as for the grots.. go ahead you just slowed your battle wagons down to 6 inches a turn and that gives me more time to fire at you so please :) trust me dude any tatic you come up with i can counter and the same goes for your orks. there is no perfect tatic if there was everyone would be doing it and everyone would be playing the same army :)

Seriously though, what would you run at say a tournament where you can't tailor the list?
