not to rip on all rob zombies movies but as a big Halloween fan, I can safely say he totally killed the whole Halloween series of movies. his 2nd Halloween with the white glow in the dark unicorn? WTF. his Halloween movies are shit

Hahahaha puke is a good name for you if you think Halloween II is a good movie. It's a wretched piece of shit, staining the landscape of horror cinema and bludgeoning viewers with absurd dialogue and stupid ass plot evolution.
Rob cannot write. it's that simple. He can make a movie look "purty", but he has no idea how to write a complete, unique, original film. He has promise as a director, but he needs to start adapting screenplays.

dude rob zombie is a master mind, idk y ppl all say his movies suck lol, house of 1000 corpses is one of the best horror films ever made, and his remakes of haloween are better then the origanals, fuck u if u dont agree, idc wat u think lol

Thanks, good luck to you too! And for the record, I can't defend Rob Zombie's latest excursion...H2 was a wretched film. :)

Thanks for understanding.
Good luck with everything. You do know a lot more about the classic era of horror than I do.

Fair enough. Definitely respect your opinion and the fact that you didn't just drop in with a few lines and run off, and that you were reasonable with your responses. Pretty cool.
-
Again - accepted. But the more you talk about him, the more I have to answer back. But my point was (just to clarify) - Zombie's movies are all joking around and dialogue.
I know Universal shot him down. I've seen the Going to Pieces documentary. Actually, any director of that time will tell you the reason why is that they only wanted movies like The Sixth Sense and Blair Witch Project - those were all the rage back then.
-
Okay - accepted. But I really hate the bones people are throwing him just because of a little grime. Yeah the 70's had that. But they also had intelligence and were trying to break ground. Zombie isn't just a throwback, he's a digression in terms of everything that gives a horror film integrity. It's possible to be grimy, smart, and horrific at the same time. And I personally agree that ghost films are pretty bad, I've never been a fan of them. But Zombie's films are no better at all.

Nah, it had nothing to do with 'American Pie". Heck, his first movie was shot down by Universal, the home of that goofy 1999 sex comedy. But again, it's truly out of place here. This is not a short film about how much I love Rob Zombie's films or art.

LOL, well of course that's insulting, and kinda irrelevant. There's a grime to his films that are a throwback in this age of shiny CGI ghost kids and crap. You disagree, cool. I'm not the world's biggest Rob Zombie fan in the first place, so your appalled reaction is ultimately out of place here, anyway. My film isn't really even about him.
This is excellent. Funny, good dialogue, creative, great pacing, good editing.
Plus, there is this one real good looking guy in the drive-in montage.
