This is my 1st attempt with the PC7424.
For this portion of the test panel I made 3 passes using Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 using a 5.5" LC Orange pad. I then made 1 pass with Wolfgang finishing glaze and a 5.5 white pad. Finished it up with Deep Gloss Sealant.
Most swirls removed but some deeper ones remain. Looking for a different setup to help get rid of the rest.

  • @janjanoca And for reference, it is a '96 year model and had over 150k miles at the time. So the paint had many years of swirls without truly being polished prior to this first attempt.

  • @janjanoca Yes some of the deeper swirls are remaining. Many BMW paints are very hard. Helps keep swirls out but more difficult to remove the ones that do exist. The PC7424 is great for home use and is fairly 'idiot proof' in the sense that you really can not damage your paint like you could with a rotary machine. It is not as powerful and the 'random orbit' keeps heat much lower. I feel the improvement was significant and this machine great for the weekend warrior.

  • i could still see some swirl marks, dont you think?
