Rupert and the Frog Song is a 1984 animated film written and produced by Paul McCartney and directed by Geoff Dunbar and Raymond 'George' Taylor. The making of Rupert and the Frog Song began in 1981 and ended in 1983. The film was released theatrically as an accompaniment to McCartney's feature film Give My Regards to Broad Street. The song We All Stand Together from the film's soundtrack reached #3 when released in the UK Singles Chart.

Love it! Magical!!!! My only criticism is the insinuation to impressionable young minds that cats or owls are in some way evil, malevolent or willfully destructive. If there had to be some 'baddies' perhaps Rupert could have stumbled upon a blood & guts soaked scene of badger baiting, fox killing or hare coursing. Pretty easy to spot the baddies....

Just sayin' randomly. If ever by some cosmic coincidence, I encountered my younger self back in the early 90's, I would b**** slap his head off for not recognizing this classic work. Damn my ignorance of REAL MUSIC!!
