Here you can see general usage of many popular apps and games, on a MacBook Air. You'll find this helpful if you are looking to purchase this gorgeous computer.

The sound in this video doesn't appear to sync up properly with the video, apologies.

Additionally, the gameplay in Red Alert 3 is incredibly smooth, but this video has a low fps, apologies.

The apps in this video are - Safari, iTunes (music, movies, TV shows, Store), Photoshop CS4, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Uprising (load and skirmish), ending on Word 2008 and an image in Preview (multi-touch zoom and rotating).

This is one MacBook Air with a speedy and durable 128GB SSD (solid state drive) and a remarkable 1.86Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, as well as breakthrough Nvidia 9400M graphics.

  • I used to have the new macbook pro, it kinda sucked, i traded it for a 2 year old macbook air and this runs a lot better than the pro did. my question is, can you recommend a fun game that can be played without the drive attached? I am looking for something like virtual drive like i used on my netbook

  • I enjoy Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, it does not require the DVD at all

  • Is that the processor useage up there? Seems like even something simple like opening safari maxes it out, or is that because of the recording app?

  • those red and green bars are Internet access, up and down.
