this is just visually awesome, the lighting and angle choices are perfect. the sound is so sharp too. no idea how i came across this but its just so casual, yet at the same time kind of deep. i love it!
Wow this was an amazing short film..i can't tell you enough how impressed i am with this..everything from the dialouge to the sound to the way it was shot...the angles and use of light and distance were awesome and really captured the moment. Kudos and i will subscribe
i don't know how i came across this video. i think it was from watching that strokes music video you made. but, seriously! this is amazing! great job! i'm sad there's only like 35 views, though.
I really really wish I was seeing it for the first time, because I feel like it'd be so different that way, seeing it from an outside perspective. The sad part about being a filmmaker is that you never get to see your own films as others see them, which really only dawned upon me yesterday. ANYWAY.
DAN! I just watched it (not in glorious HD though because my internet's not that fast), and I love it. You nailed the atmosphere which is what this movie's all about for me. I get this total late-summer losing-light young-friend nostalgia. The sound is also fucking PRIME. I love the part where the plane almost obscures her talking. Congratulations, I feel like this is your first real straight up exploration.
Beautiful!!!!
