@ All o y'all , Mercy mutsvene is singing Rebecca Malope's songs , all the credit goes to Rebecca ayt , check on the net if u fink i'm lying. Apparently Mercy was telling the whole world that she and Rebecca had some kind of agreement that she translates Rebecca's songs and sings them which was a complete lie, when Rebecca came to Zimbabwe for a concert she denied asll that and promised to sue the lyin , thieving ass called Mrcy!! Ok Mercy yeah u a thief , but I actually lyk ur song!

Mercy may not have studed the bible in its deepest sense, like most of us but "Tichasanaganiswa" the lyrics are quite in tune with the bible teachings.However Mercy's songs may not represent all christian sects. Initially she worked very much with Lady Rebecca but Mercy is a recognised artist in her own right, quite innovative. That her songs sound like funeral hymn is usually ascribed to people who do not usually attend service. those that are Lucky! to hear of his grace at funerals. God Bless.

If you have been following music by the likes of Rebecca Malope (SA Gospel Singer) you will notice some similarities in their music. You know exactly what I mean! In the Word of God are so many teachings and my argument is this lady Mercy among others seem to miss the essence of those teachings in their so called worship music or Gospel music. To be honest with you, most of the music resembles those hymns sung at funerals over and over again.

I love your voice and South African-style singing. However, you need to study the Word more and sing about why Jesus came and of what significance is His coming to Mankind. Ask the Holy Spirit for more revelation and better messages in your songs. Sing songs with a meaning and an uplifting message.
