Demo of eBow. This is the classic ebow with red light. I believe the later model has an on/off switch. You have to fire up this one yourself by hammer-on or pull-off. The song is about the ocean and the struggle of whales, dolphins and other inhabitants against their greatest enemy on earth: humans. When does the killing stop?

  • Nice gold top with a bucker and P-90!

  • @WhiteNacho Hi, thanks. actually it's a Dimarzio Super Distortion 100 in soapbar format. Really old pickup, over 30 years.

  • How does the ebow work?

Do you just set it on the strings and pick with the fret hand?

  • @duhzzzz Works on the principle of magnetism, probably 2 magnets creating a magnetic field which makes the string vibrate. You don't need to pick at all, just place it over the string you want to hear.

  • i have a Q...Is there difference between Ebow with blue light and Ebow with red light???

  • @12alzbet12 The one with the red light is an older model. They are black now with blue light and an on/off switch.

  • @Hv358 it's just an amplifier...

Works exactly the same like when you get feedback through a microphone from a speaker, except here it's done deliberately and since the string will only vibrate on certain frequencies, it will sustain the note instead of producing that annoying squealing sound...

  • Wow, this was really, really good! I love my ebow, but I want that gold Les Paul Deluxe!!

  • What a weird but interesting gadget....:)

  • Reminds me very strongly of Alex Lifeson, tonally. Interesting.

  • love your guitar

  • Finaly someone that can use it!

  • @Hv358 thanks ;)
