I always liked the English language but in the begging of the course I was really young and I didn´t like to study the grammar for example, but then I realized that I was missing the opportunity to learn another language.
An English teacher in Brazil: Well, in "normal" schools you have to be graduated in college (graduated in English). But in specific English courses like this one I attended to they have their own way to hire teachers. There are more native speakers for example.

You welcome Daniel! I studied Spanish in the same place where I studied English... the "structure" of the course was the same but, of course, Spanish is much more easy por a Portuguese speaker. The problem is that we tend to speak "portuñol", trying to use the Portuguese structure and vocabulary to the Spanish language. But people say that it´s much more difficult to a Spanish speaker to learn Portuguese.. just because Portuguese is much more irregular.

I think I'm the opposite of you... I don't care about any of my other classes, mas me encanta a lingua português! I think it would be awesome to teach English in Brazil! I'm not sure what qualifications you would need though.. do you know? Do you need to be certified or something, or just know how to speak English?
