This song is a bitch to play. But all the planets are, and they all sound amazing

Thge people who disliked this liked i much, that they thought that the dislike button was a second like button, and clicked it

Evokes images of a peaceful empty city street on a clear, quiet Sunday morning with a slight breeze blowing as one walks down it--Venus yes I can bring that to mid as well but all music is subjective to the hearer.

Love how the song goes on after it reaches the end time.

I played the whole suite once in Jr high and once in High School and it continues to be one of my favorite peices to play and listen to. Being a String Bass player it's hard to get music that moves me.

I remember when I first commented on this piece 2 years ago, and I kept saying I had a vision in my head when I'd hear it. Well, as it turns out, not that much longer after that, when I bought each planet's piece and started playing them on shuffle, an entire storyline started forming itself in my mind, like a movie. I only end up doing that with songs and pieces that really move me and mean something to me, so that tells you something. Look what The Planets Suite can trigger for the mind. :)

@debzpoet That's awesome. I have a four year old, and when she was a baby, I used to play this song to her on a compilation that I made for her (both classical and jazz). She enjoys "listening" to music with me too, sitting on my lap watching You Tube videos. Your comment made me realize I'm doing something right by exposing her to great music, even if it's on You Tube.

This is the number one song I always use for Music Therapy. Love it. Great for imagery travel.
When I was a very young child ,maybe 8 or 9 I remember going into my dads study and climbing up on to his lap and listening to this music. My dad would say to me 'a planet for every mood' at the time I didn't really understand what he meant .Now 40 years later I can really appreciate what he was trying to say.

I find it funny that every one is arguing heatedly about a peace called Venus, bringer of peace.
