HikariChino (Mystia Lorelei) vs CPU (Reisen)

This is me playing Touhou: Phantasmagoria of Flower View. I play as Mystia Lorelei, cuz she's just cool and...that's it. She just looks cool. And her theme is kickass. I face Reisen cuz I like her theme as well, hense why were playing in her stage.


I know this is on Easy mode, but I'm learning as I go, so please don't flame me for this. Any tips would be appreciated since I'm really getting into this touhou thing.

And a follow-up to the previous tip: In my experience, if you have a Level 4 boss on your side and a Level 4 charged gauge, it's better to just fire off your own Level 4 instead of trying to get an item from your opponent's Level 4.

One more tip: When you defeat Lily White or a boss resulting from your opponent's Level 4 attack, the defeated boss will drop an item. These items are very useful, so when this happens, start charging up a Level 2 attack to clear out the bullets in order to make sure you can collect the item.

Also, if the item is gold-colored, it'll charge your gauge to Level 4 regardless of where it was before, so use up your charge as much as possible. Bomb right before you collect it.

Ack, never mind my last comment, I posted it before getting to the part where you start focusing. But in any case, I recommend focusing more.

Also, if you have at least a level 2 charge, glance upwards whenever you get the chance. If there's a heavy cloud of bullets approaching, start charging your level 2 attack.

I've noticed you're not using Focus at all. Press and hold Shift to focus, which makes your hitbox visible in the form of a white dot and slows down your movement. In PoFV, it'll also deploy a purplish field, which will transform spirits (the glowy things that are either red, yellow, or green), making them stop in their tracks and move back upwards a little so they're easier to shoot/dodge. But transformed spirits turn into bullets if not destroyed after a few seconds, so be warned.
