TEDxNorthwesternU, Democracy After Anatomy: Alice Dreger, PhD

On December 15, 2010, the Center for Genetic Medicine and Science in Society, the University's office for science outreach and public engagement, hosted their first TEDx event. Featuring guest speakers, Alice Dreger, PhD (Northwestern) and Rick Kittles, PhD (University of Illinois at Chicago) to explore the topic of identity. The self-organized TEDx programs bring people together to share a TED-like experience, combining video and live speakers to spark deep discussions among small groups.
