@fbex1 I think Nosiru Atunwon mother hailed from Imota Ikorodu. During his lifetime, Nosiru Atunwon & his boys
rocked the entire Ijebuland & Lagos with his music, I was informed by my dad that Atunwon started playing before the likes of Great Haruno Ishola & Ligali Mukaiba. Atunwon played for my dad in 1969 to celebrate the birth of one of my siblings

Great music from Nosiru Atunwon. Baba Silifa, omo komarihun gbesonu lai sebi omo. Omo Eluku medemede. RIP!
Egba Alake, I have been following your postings since I discovered you and without sounding being general I want to say you are doing a wonderful and memorial work for many of us. This posting is of importance to me. In the middle of the 50's Nosiru was the one that will come to Imota to play for the different groups of what is called "Egbe" outings. I have gone to Ikorodu anytime I am in Nigeria to seek his records but I am only able to find a cassette and it is taken by someone else, good work

@fbex1 .Thanks a lot for the comments and Im delighted you can identify with some of the music uploaded on this channel.I must confess most of the music I upload are basically from cassettes and they pose extra challenges unlike traditional CDs.We have to be grateful to youtube for giving us the opportunity to preserve and share some of the legendary musical collections we all grew up with. Thanks and God Bless.
