  • Spent a year there in 70-71. Some of the nicest people on the planet. Lived right on the river, watched the light show at night over the ho chi trail.

  • I grew up in NKP Provence after the GIs left. All the years I lived there I only was on the base once or twice. It is now used as a commercial airport as well as Thai Airforce. Funny how things change and stay the same. The corugated metal was still used for parking lots and for the area where the planes parked for loading. I still remember how tires sqweaked on that stuff.

  • WOW, some really great pics. I was stationed there myself 73-74. Great times. I was living in Camp Tarbox when I wasn't staying downtown that is. All round great experience.

  • I was there 67 - 68, motor pool, drove the Base Ops flighttline truck. Loved taking "backseat" rides....O-1, UH-1, T-28. I was just a dumb kid then, 63 now. Thanks for the vid, it was fantastic.

  • Wow, brings back a lot of memories. I was there in '72 assigned to AFTN. Playing the hits for y'all!!

  • I was with 1987th Comm Sq working at Base Switchboard, Base Comm Center and up at Invert Comm Center for 15 glorious months, Jun 72 to Sep 73. Met and married my wife there, too. The pix bring back some great memories ... Thanks.

  • I was with Invert Radio Maintenance at NKP in 67& 68.

  • My friend Bill was stationed there and saw Bob Hope etal. He wants to know if he won a prize picking the picture of Udorn out lol.

  • I was there 1968-69. Brought back memories. 56th CES. I was NCOIC of welding shop & sheet metal shop.
