The Snow Leopard, read by Jackie Morris

I live and work in Wales and have loved the beautiful snowleopard for many years. After years of illustrating I found the courage to write. The Snow Leopard prowled into my imagination whilst out walking in Pembrokeshire.
I have never seen a wild leopard but had the great priveleg to spend a short time with a wonderful leopard called Shadow. Much of his spirit is in the illustrations in this book.
There are only between 3500 and 7000 Snowleopards in the wilds of the world. Their habitat is threatened, by poachers, herders, miners, man. The Snow Leopard Trust works with the people who share the territories where the leopards dwell. They have the chance to win The BBC World Challenge. They need people to vote for them in this curious competition, so, if you love leopards then please give a little time, just a minute or two, to vote for The Snow Leopard Trust.
