Just bought my 12" double bevel dewalt. Was on the market for my own chop saw rather then using works, and i found a 12' double bevel for , after shipping, 285! on amazon form a company that used the saw as a short display, so in other words its 'used' but its brand new. They're around 400-420$ new so im stoaked for my deal. I also bought my miter stand, from Oasis Mahchinery which is identical to the dewalt one in every way, just 100 bucks cheaper , check it out.
Couple things - your saw should be a bit more forward on the supports for proper weight distribution, I can see a bit off room to move it up on the supports.
Also, the saw is sitting on the stand backwards, the stand needs to be flipped 180 degrees as one of the saw clamp supports needs to fit in the stop bracket that is attached to the stand to keep the saw from shifting with side to side sway.
