  • I think it very well might. Make sure the bud union is planted below the soil level when it goes in the ground. Also, you say rose rose is leafing out. That IMO means it's happy and should do okay.

    I received (NOT from AshdownRoses) a bare root (english rose) that is split from the center of the roots up through half of the length of the shank. :-( I cleaned it up and used 2 pull ties to pull it together and potted it. It is leafing out. In your experience, might it survive and thrive?
