  • The digital conversion boxes available in local stores in St. Louis are poor at best.

There is one good converter that I am aware of and it is the DTVPal Plus. It has an especially sensitive receiver and is easy to use-while being packed with features. I am researching antennas to make recommendations for fringe areas and will soon be offering an exceptional indoor replacement for those who use rabbit ears.
