The Mercedes ML did such a good job protecting the occupants. The occupants of the BMW were killed.

That BMW was torn into pieces.. literally. As far as the Benz went; You have got to love that frame. It's almost hard to believe a BMW held up in such a way, considering it's a SUV.

how fast was the crash? the bmw is really wrecked.

The BMW flew from the opposite side of the freeway, and landed on the benz before hitting the ground-I would say the BMW hit the Benz at 70mph-yet I might be mistaken. His speed was much more before becoming overborn but my guess is that he tried to control the car therefore reducing his speed and due to uneven roads obviously he hit something in the pavement going downhill. All 3 BMW passengers died. Benz driver survived.
