Whats with the pimples on the pilot's helmets?

A good explanation has already been given earlier by Johan Grön who wrote: It's the Cobra helmet and the bumps are to position the helmet in 3D so that the HUD can be projected on the helmet visor based on where the pilot is watching. Used to shoot missiles on nearby enemy aircraft by just looking at them.

Boeing should license the design and built it in the US for USAF. It is much more cost effective than building thousands of F-35 which even the US can no longer afford in such numbers. While they are at it they could upgrade the stealth characteristics slightly. It is already hard to detect but there is still some room to improve to the limit of stealth for an aircraft with external weapons. Such a "Silent Gripen" model would be amazing against non stealth fighters and a hard target vs stealth.

Can not compare because yak 130 is advance trainer/ subsonic light fighter airplane but gripen is supersonic multirole fighter airplane
