The Altos are amazing... it's almost tenor range... OMG

This is among my favorite choral pieces, and Oxford deliverd with heavenly beauty. The one thing that is prime, other than the marvelous intonation, modulations and dissonance ,is the TEMPO. Many choirs that I have heard sing this piece sing it TOO FAST, including Clare College. If the tempo is marked too high, the beauty of the peice is compromised; you can't rush such richness. Great job Navdon on this selection!!!

Wow. This video easily has the best harmony that I've ever heard.

This is just indescribably good, the harmonies are so deliciously complex it's impossible to completely appreciate this work without listening to it over and over again. Which I shall happily do

I think in this case, it's even less harmonious than late-romantic, however because of the unique technique that is used by the perioud, it works well with the dynamic.

@greenmoss123 ah ha....so you need to sing it first before being able to make a fair judgement? Singing is not all about xfactor...singing with a microphone...it's bloody hard work.

@jrankey, low tech im afraid. There are probably better ways, but i just scanned in the images and then used windows movie maker to put it together. You're right about choir training. Great idea.
